NDIS self and plan-managed individuals, families and carers can now access supports and services 1:1 and/or small groups via our EXPERIENCES both offered online and in-person from Totoka Urban Farm. Adrianne (owner) has an incredible ability to cater and document plans for varying needs due to her diverse teaching experiences and educational qualifications including special education, mental health and Master of Education, Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice.

EXPERIENCES can be created including and not limited to: nature skills, nature immersion, outdoor education, connection to country, art, life skills, work-readiness, technology, art, cooking & more. Adrianne currently mentors youth in mainstream school, homeschool & adults both online & in-person at ‘Totoka’. and together Adrianne and David mentor NDIS clients at Totoka Urban Farm.

Totoka Urban Farm has quirky chickens, honey bees, wholesale coffee roasting business, a beautiful small dog that loves company, 20+acres of bushland bliss and opportunities to cater for a vast range of individual needs.

Adrianne’s experience includes 24years in SA education department specialising in special education and outdoor/nature based education. Extensive background as a teacher/leadership in education, with a Masters Degree in Education, Post Graduates in Special Education: learning difficulties & mental health. Vast experience in special education schools and 2 sons with severe dyslexia/dysgraphia, Adrianne neurodivergent and empathic to individual needs. Extensive experience with challenging behaviours; Adrianne’s calm but confident nature is well respected by all ages. Adrianne mentors families with strategies to get outside daily, as continued research has shown nature supports mental health, increases learning pathways, hence the passion for mentoring outside at Totoka Urban Farm!

Do you invoice?

YES however full payment must be received within 7 days see terms and conditions for further details.

How much do you charge?

Adrianne is classed under the NDIS price guide as ‘Other Professional’ and David when required for additional support for Adrianne, is classed as a support worker.

Do you conduct FREE tours?

We DO NOT open to general public. Being an exclusive private property, entering is only permitted with bookings.

What do you 'farm'?

We are a boutique, quirky urban farm running multiple biz. We only use ORGANIC practices (which means OODLES of weeding by hand) producing our own fruits, garden vegetables, herbs, flowers, raw honey and even our freshly roasted coffee is 100% certified organic.

Our quirky chickens (yes they have personalities) are hatched and bred here at TOTOKA, providing the delicious farm fresh breakfast staple!

We believe food is medicine and love living with our own ‘crop to plate’ as well as regenerating our native flora for the diversity of fauna our property is a sanctuary for!
